Terps ProDev PROJECTS
Over the years, ProDev has received the opportunity to host a variety of projects. Below, are a few of the highlights of the impact of our work over the years.
GLOBAL POVERTY PROJECT
On April 17th at 7pm, ProDev sponsored the organization, the Global Poverty Project to host a film screening and discuss the extreme poverty in the 21st century. An active Q&A session followed afterwards.

IMA WORLD HEALTH
ProDev has hosted the organization, IMA World Health, to discuss the the current field work that the organization is involved with and how our internationally-minded terps can get involved. We've additionally, fundraised for the organization, in provided safe motherhood kits to provide safe options for childbirth.

LIVING ON ONE DOLLAR
On Nov 23-27 2013 And October 2nd 2012, ProDev collaborated with the IndieFlix & Living On One to organize a 5-day challenge and film screening. During the 4 day period, members braced a challenge that a margin of the developing world faces every day: living on one dollar or less each day. Visit our blogging chronicles during this challenge. After the challenge, we were able to host a film screening with a follow-up discussion on food security and poverty. ProDev has hosted this event twice due to its prior success.

FACES OF DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE
On November 16th, 2012, ProDev, organized a campus-wide conference centered on international development. The purpose of the conference was to display the fields and opportunites within international development. Additionally, it was an opportunity for students (of all majors) to contribute to stimulating debates and open discussions around contemporary world issues.

KIVA
ProDev is an all-time supporter of the innovative and efficient micro-finance organization, KIVA.org. We have continously invested and followed-up with social entrepreneuneurs around the world, from developing countries alike.

VARIOUS FUNDRAISERS
Apart from hosting Guest speakers, film screenings, ProDev fundraisers for events and causes surrounding issues like maternal health, children's education, disaster recovery, human rights, women empowerment and issues alike.
